Tracey’s fascination with the ways of the world began when she was very young. She read everything she could get her hands on, especially tales of foreign lands and unique circumstances. She began studying a foreign language in junior high , steadily adding to the first. All the while, she was mesmerized by literature, reading and writing constantly. As her education and experiential knowledge progressed, her interest in mankind’s various interpretations of life grew to encompass societal systems and philosophies, as well as languages, history and literature. Painting was also important, but there were many more modes of expression to inspect than there was time so it didn’t get the attention it deserved. All of the other scrutiny fed Tracey’s fascination with the intricate composition of the world: the beauty was in the complexity.
