Riomaggiore is one of the five villages that make up the overwhelmingly beautiful Cinqueterre. The people here must thrive on the beauty: here they are thriving under the café umbrellas of the harbor place. You might think the people and the port’s parasols have been painted with this much color and chaos just to illustrate the busy brightness of the area, but the truth is this might be the most realistic canvas I’ve ever done.
